I have known John for several years and have seen his beautiful photography of Detroit architecture, flowers, pets and much more.  I was thrilled to find out he would do family photos.  He was great with my kids then, 13,12,10...kept them smiling and engaged in getting great photos the whole time.  Was very creative in capturing their personalities and Milford, MI was the perfect background for the shoot.  I needed a professional photo for work and had John do it for me.  He was easy to work with and he knew just how to get a great shot - I've gotten so many compliments on them.    He has also done 2 of my nephew’s senior pictures, not an easy job ...teenage boys!  They turned out amazing!  The boys LOVE John!

John's work was incredible. At first I wasn't sure cause I didn't know him, but I trusted that his work would impress me. He was so much fun to work with, knowing poses, and encouraging me to keep going and even try some stuff that I liked. It was a joy to walk around and take pictures both during my senior pictures, and graduation pictures.  The final product was also impressive. I loved the editing and how he made me look natural, yet great at the same time. I loved the lighting and just everything that he brought to the table with his photography.

After seeing Johns work we decided he was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer for our daughter’s senior pictures. John is very professional and made us feel like we were in control of the photo session. Using many different ideas and styles he captured the looks we envisioned for the senior pictures. We were able to use any props we wanted and John also used our location to create special pictures, for example; a stairwell, parking garage, a ramp, some trees, and even a fountain. The session lasted a couple of hours, we had different outfit changes, he was very patient and made sure we were happy. We were very happy with our photos and we had him take Graduation photos also. We will be using John for our portrait needs in the future.

The pictures that John took of our two girls, ages 3 & 1, are absolutely stunning!  In choosing a photographer, you hope that you find one that takes “nice” pictures of your kids; not only are John’s pictures beautiful, but they capture their individual personalities so well.  We loved working with John - he chose beautiful locations, had creative ideas, and had such patience in dealing with the girls (and us moms) over the course of the photo shoot – the girls were so relaxed around him and it shows in the photos.  The hardest part of the whole experience was selecting the final photographs – there were so many wonderful ones to choose from!
